Pricing for Existing B Corps

Certification Pricing on V2.1

To become a Certified B Corporation, eligible companies must submit their self-assessment through B Impact for third-party verification and pay the relevant fees throughout the certification process. To remain a Certified B Corp year after year, as outlined in the B Corp Agreement, a B Corp must pay an annual certification fee, and possibly other fees, based on the size and complexity of a company.

AUDIT FEES

A portion of your certification fee directly covers independent third-party audit. These audit fees are set by an accredited assurance provider based on your company’s size and complexity (revenue and employee count).

The audit fee is entirely dedicated to covering the costs incurred by the accredited third party that performs the audit. This essential process confirms the company’s adherence to the requirements in our updated standards. These costs are pass-through costs to cover the verification and technology fees for an average-complexity company in its pricing tier.

The certification fees shown above cover the average audit prices applicable to the majority of companies that complete the initial audit requirements. In some cases, additional audit work may be required.  For example, if a company has a greater size or complexity, a higher risk profile, identified nonconformities, or delays in providing required information. When this occurs, additional audit costs may apply; B Lab will inform you in advance.

Additional Fees

Some companies, based on size and complexity, are subject to additional certification processes or requirements, which can incur their own fees.
