Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are more than internal communities; they reflect how an organization shows up for its people. At their core, ERGs are employee-led spaces shaped by shared identities, lived experiences, or common interests. They help build trust, strengthen belonging, and create meaningful pathways for voice, connection, and leadership. ERGs also play an important role in helping organizations learn and evolve.

When thoughtfully designed and resourced, ERGs move beyond connection spaces. They become part of how organizations grow—supporting culture, strengthening relationships, and advancing commitments to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) in the workplace.
