The non-refundable program fees of this 8-week cohort include:
- Five online modules that include live Q&A sessions;
- A 4 hour workshop ;
- A timed exam at the end of the course.

No, this training is for individuals who are helping companies through the B Corp Certification process.

Once selected and we’ve received your payment and signed NDA, you will be registered to the B Consultant training courses. Upon completion of the course, you must attend the live virtual workshop; pass the exam. You will have two opportunities to take and pass the exam — an initial sitting and one additional opportunity to retake it should you not pass the first time. Please note that there is an additional fee associated with retaking the exam should you be unsuccess in your first two attempts.
The B Consultants program is for individuals. People who complete the B Consultant program and meet the ongoing commitments are recognized as B Consultants and listed on the directory on B Lab US & Canada’s website. You can include your current employer in your B Consultant listing, if you so choose.
Upon completion of the program, you will receive:
- A digital copy of your certificate;
- A profile feature on our online directory;
- The B Consultants professional designation and word mark, and the brand guideline (coming soon) includes an outline for the usage of both;
- A social media kit to promote your new training.
Please allow 72 hours after you’ve completed the workshop to receive your certificate.
Earning the B Consultant certificate allows individuals to signify their knowledge of the B Corp Certification process and requirements. As subject-matter-experts in the certification process, B Consultants lead businesses through best practices, tools for tracking and reporting impact through the B Impact Assessment, and access to essential B Lab resources. Yes, we ask that you complete this short introductory course prior to applying and joining the cohort. We also ask that you make yourself familiar with our community, mission and values prior to applying. Learn more about the community. To be eligible for a B Consultant certificate, you must be 18 years of age or older and agree to B Lab Code of Conduct.

B Consultants program registrations may not be transferred to another individual. If you have extenuating circumstances that may prevent you from completing the B Consultants program within the designated five week cohort period, please contact bconsultants@usca.bcorporation.net.
At this time due to the nature of the cohort style associated with this program, we cannot accommodate extension requests. The B Consultants training program is non-refundable and each participant should ensure that they will be able to complete the course, workshop and exam within the allotted fuve weeks of each cohort. If there are unavoidable circumstances or certain accommodations that prevent you from completing the program within the allotted time, please reach out to bconsultants@usca.bcorporation.net for assistance.
Yes, at the end of the two-year certificate term, you must complete the renewal program in order for your certificate to remain valid. Further details regarding renewal will be released in the coming months.
